Here's the catch for this recipe - you need to go to palmetto olive oil company and buy their blood orange olive oil - here's the reward - one of the very best cakes you'll ever make

BLOOD ORANGE POUND CAKE

Ingredients:

1 package yellow cake mix with pudding added (that's the type of cake mix it has pudding already in it)
1/4 cup white sugar
1 cup blood orange olive oil
1 8 oz container of sour cream
4 eggs
1 tablespoon of orange extract (I didn't have this and it came out fine without it - probably better with it)

Preheat oven to 325 & grease and flour 9 or 10 inch bundt pan (definitely grease and flour otherwise it gets stuck - trust me)

In large bowl combine cake mix and sugar. Make a well in the center and pour in oil, sour cream, eggs and orange extract. (My well was a bit messy also came out fine) beat on low until blended.
Scrape bowl and beat 4 minutes on medium speed. Pour into prepared pan and bake 40 - 45 minutes until toothpick comes ut clean.

Cool 15 minutes - flip and finish cooling on rack
