This cake has all the ingredients you have on hand, tastes great, and works with fresh fruit or canned


1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup sugar
2 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 egg beaten add milk to fill 1 cup
Peaches or plums 


Cream butter & sugar - add egg mixture alternately with flour sifted with baking power - spread in greased shallow plan - brush with melted butter and over with peaches or plums (cut into small moon shape pieces) and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon


Bake 20-25 minutes in a 350 oven.
