I AM NOT A PET

Every time a new, cute pet comes along, the masses follow. Such has been the case with Sugar Gliders and, believe it or not, fennec foxes. When the demand for these animals go up so does the amount of smuggling and deaths from being smuggled. Neither of these animals are domesticated. They are wild animals that deserve to be kept wile.

While all of these critters are adorable as babies, they grow into adults that have their own set of needs and requirements - most of which are not available in a home. Many of these animals are later abandoned on streets and forests when households find they do not have the resources to take care of them.

Be kind and responsible -- avoid exotic pets and adopt.
